The Dermatology Center of McKinney, founded in 2008 with just three exam rooms, has evolved into a thriving practice with 13 rooms under the leadership of Dr. James Ralston and his wife, Rachel Ralston.

Alongside their dedicated team of providers, physician assistants, medical laser technicians, and medical aestheticians, they have achieved what many only aspire to, driven by an unwavering commitment to superior patient care and expertise in a wide range of skin conditions.

Dr. Ralston’s passion for dermatology is deeply rooted in his personal experience of losing a loved one to skin cancer when he was a child, a tragedy that fuels his dedication to the practice of skin care.

As a proudly doctor-owned practice, the Dermatology Center of McKinney fosters an environment of open communication, mutual respect, and continuous learning. This supportive and inclusive atmosphere encourages the sharing of ideas and knowledge among all team members.

The practice also serves as a training ground for the next generation of skin care professionals, welcoming high school and college students, physician assistant residents, and nurses eager to learn from the best.
