What to Do:

  • Arrive to the appointment makeup and oil free.
  • Notify us if you’ve recently been on any antibiotics.
  • Drink water to keep your body well-hydrated.

What to Avoid:

  • Avoid chemical peels or other similar treatments 4 weeks prior to treatment.
  • Avoid direct sun exposure and apply sunscreen regularly.
  • Refrain from using any retinoid products a week before treatment.

Post-Treatment Care

What to Do:

  • Wash your face gently with tepid water to keep the treatment area clean.
  • Use a simple, gentle cleanser without exfoliating beads or acids.

What to Avoid:

  • Avoid using harsh skincare products for 48 hours post treatment.
  • Avoid direct sun exposure for at least 3 weeks after treatment.
  • Don’t engage in strenuous exercise that could cause sweating for 24 hours.

What to Expect

Aquagold treatment begins with a thorough consultation at our clinic. During this time, Dr. Ralston will ask patients about their specific skin concerns and aesthetic goals. He will review medical history, including any medications they are currently prescribed. He will recommend a customized treatment plan, including the right solution (Botox, hyaluronic acid, or vitamin injections) to address each patient’s unique goals.

Conducted in a serene environment, the Aquagold Micro-infusion takes about 45 minutes to complete. During this time, the patient will recline while our practitioner applies the Aquagold microchannels into the top layers of the skin. These ultra-fine needles are plated in biosafe 24K gold. Designed to be minimally invasive and less painful than other injections, this injection treats sensitive areas with profound comfort.

Immediately following the Aquagold Micro-infusion treatment, patients will notice a visible enhancement in their skin’s texture and radiance. The benefits continue to improve in the following 4 to 7 days as the infused ingredients activate beneath the skin.
